Issues impacting community cancer care

The US Oncology Network’s State Government Relations team advocates on behalf of community oncology practices within The Network on the state and local level. We actively monitor and engage in many issues of importance such as policies that protect the patient-physician relationship and remove barriers that compromise patients access to timely care such as prior authorization and step therapy reform, prohibiting insurers and Pharmacy Benefit Managers from mandating white-bagging policies, and protecting integrated, value-based comprehensive cancer care in the community setting. We have highlighted a few of our top issues below but please visit our interactive map to see all that we are tracking across the US.
