Texas Oncology – Odessa Hosts Congressman August Pfluger (R-TX)

On July 31, Texas Oncology hosted Congressman August Pfluger (R-TX) for a site visit at the Odessa West Texas Cancer Center. Dr. Kaczor, Dr. Khandelwal, Dr. Borra, and Tammi Mermis led Congressman Pfluger on a tour of the practice, which included the pharmacy, infusion suite, and new construction being done of the radiation vault.

Throughout the tour, Congressman Pfluger learned about the value of community oncology, the high quality care being delivered to West Texans, value-based care, and patients access to clinical trials.

Representative August Pfluger represents the 11th District of Texas and serves on the House Committee on Homeland Security and the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
