Minnesota Oncology Hosts Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN)

On Thursday, June 29 Minnesota Oncology (MnO) hosted Congressman Dean Phillips (D-MN) for a site visit at their new Maple Grove location. Led by Dr. Rajini Malisetti, Executive Director Steve Endrud, Director of Practice Operations Ginna Pearson, Pharmacy Manager Clive Buruchara, Rep. Phillips toured the new practice location in the Maple Grove community.

Congressman Phillips was able to meet several patients and staff members to better understand the work and care being delivered in his district. Rep. Phillips was especially happy to meet financial counseling staff to learn about patient barriers and how MnO assists them with navigating any financial or insurance concerns to ensure the highest quality of care is being delivered.

As a member of the House Committee on Small Business, it was important for Congressman Phillips to learn about Minnesota Oncology’s story and focus on delivering high quality care in the community. Rep. Phillips also serves on the House Ethics and House Foreign Affairs committees. The Network and MnO look forward to working with Congressman Phillips on these important issues impacting community oncology care.
