Missouri Cancer Associates – Columbia hosts Congressman Mark Alford (R-MO)

On July 1, Missouri Cancer Associates hosted Congressman Mark Alford for a site visit at their Columbia practice. Dr. Andrew Iliff, Dr. Mark Cope, Kelsey Weakley, and Rhonda Henstorf led Congressman Alford on a tour of the practice, including the pharmacy, infusion suite, wig room, and new radiation vault.

During the tour, discussion centered around the value of community-based cancer care, MCA’s dedication to providing high-quality cancer care across the region, and factors driving consolidation of independent cancer practices.

Congressman Mark Alford represents the 4th congressional district in Missouri. He serves on the House Armed Services, Agriculture, and Small Business Committees. The Network and Missouri Cancer Associates look forward to working with Rep. Alford on issues impacting community oncology.
