Network Physicians Advocate for Community Oncology on Capitol Hill
On May 11, 2022, Network physicians arrived on Capitol Hill for a series of meetings with key Congressional lawmakers to advocate on the behalf of community oncology. The Network physicians urged members of the House Energy & Commerce and Ways & Means Committees to take action to avert looming cuts to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, support policies that remove patient access barriers to care such as step therapy and prior authorization and share Network practices’ experience with value-based care models such as the OCM.
Thank you to The US Oncology Network physicians who traveled to D.C. and helped make our Capitol Hill visits successful!
