Texas Oncology Leaders Meet with Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick in Austin

October 24, 2024, Austin, Texas – Texas Oncology’s leadership team was honored to meet with Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick in Austin to discuss the pivotal role of community oncology in Texas. Representing Texas Oncology were Dr. Steve Paulson, President and Chairman; Dr. Debra Patt, Executive Vice President of Policy and Strategy; and Angela Storseth, Senior Director of Government Relations & Advocacy.

During the meeting, our leaders provided an in-depth overview of Texas Oncology, emphasizing the importance and value of delivering high-quality, cost-effective cancer care in the community setting. They underscored how crucial it is for patients to receive care close to home, allowing them to maintain their daily routines and stay connected with their families and communities.

Dr. Paulson and Dr. Patt highlighted the comprehensive services offered by Texas Oncology, which enable patients to access innovative treatments and care without the need to travel long distances.
